Taking inspiration from Mediterranean culture, Octaevo's stationery is one of a kind. Their selection of cinema notebooks are inspired by Mediterranean movies, one of them being 1960 film Plein Soleil. Intrigued by the movie title we did our research and found out that the cinematography is stunning to this day.
Plein Soleil is the original film adaption of Talented Mr. Ripley, starring French sixties heartthrob, Alain Delon in his first major role. Suspense, intrigue and stolen identities on the Amalfi Coast, land of opulent jet setters. A sun-kissed Tom Ripley (Alain Delon) is a charming and charismatic imposter.
He swiftly adjusts to his new identity and embraces the high life. Sipping chilled cocktails on yachts, driving fast cars along breath-taking corniches; a life to kill for. He made his dream come true, but his disguise is about to be blown.
We can be anything we want to be, but none of us can outsmart our own shadow.
