I'm Marije, founder of The Domestic Botanist. After helping many customers choose the right size, I've gathered the advice I give most often in one place. In this guide you'll find my own fitting notes, inside measurements and recommendations for each style.
Unlike many shoe brands, Plasticana uses different sizing systems across its collections. Gardana clogs fit differently from Opana mules, and Sandana sandals are different again. Below I will give my general recommendations but please do measure your feet and check the sizing chart, as every foot is different.
PS. The measurements in the size charts are the official measurements received from Plasticana.

Why do all Plasticana styles have different sizing? Each model is designed for a different purpose. Gardana was designed as a practical gardening clog with extra room so you can easily slip it on and off. Opana has a more regular fit, while Sandana jelly sandals wrap more closely around the foot. That's why one size recommendation doesn't work for every model.
How To Measure Your Feet
The easiest way to measure your feet is to grab a piece of paper and a pencil, stand with your heels against a wall and then put the paper underneath your feet. Make sure your heels and the paper touch the wall. Then mark the front of your feet with the pencil. Afterwards you can measure the length of your feet on the paper.
To measure width, wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your foot.
PS. I recommend you measure both feet and use the larger measurement. Feet are often slightly different sizes, and this is a common source of returns.
Gardana Clogs Sizing
Gardana Clogs: order one size down from your usual size.
These shoes are originally designed for gardening and the idea is that you can easily step in and out of the shoes. This means the heel of the shoe is not as close-fitting like other shoes, there is some room behind your heel. Still, I recommend customers to size down because the shoes also run quite large in general.
For your reference here is a sizing table where you can see the measurement of the inside of the shoes.

For reference, I normally wear an EU 38. In the Gardana clog I wear a 37–38. They still feel quite roomy, which I actually like for gardening. If I'm wearing them without socks or with thinner socks, I add an insole for a snugger fit. During winter I remove the insole and wear thick wool socks instead. (I personally love the textures of the smooth hemp rubber shoes in combination with woolly socks!).
Opana Mules Sizing

As a reference, I am a regular size 38 and for Opana Mules I need size 38-39 just like the size table shows. The mules are somewhat roomy for me but not uncomfortable. And I really like to wear them with socks so that's what I mostly wear.

As a reference, I am a regular size 38 but for Sandana I need size 39. The style hugs your feet perfectly and is nice to wear with and without socks.
Please note Sandana Jelly Sandals are sometimes also called Sunchanvre Sandals. This is just a different name for the same style.
