I am currently on pregnancy leave until the end of 2023, which means shipping will occur less frequently and the local pickup option in Utrecht is temporarily not possible.
This is what you can expect until the end of 2023:
- No shipping between 30 October - 12 November. All orders placed in this period will go out on November 13th.
- From 13 November onwards orders will be shipped only twice a week.
- Free local pickup in Utrecht is temporarily not possible.
- I will check my emails less frequently, although I will try to answer as quick as possible.
Thank you for your understanding!
1. Shipping and Handling
1.1 Shipping Rates
We are currently working on a new overview of the shipping costs. In the meantime please refer to the shipping calculator at checkout, where you can view the shipping options and prices for your region.
Import Duties and Taxes
Please note: Import duties and taxes might apply on your international order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
Please note that we are currently unable to ship to the UK because of the Brexit regulations. We hope this will change in the future.
Please note we re-use packaging as much as we can to save our precious natural resources. At the same time we are aware of the value of the unboxing experience, so we try to wrap your order as lovely as possible.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the items postmarked within 14 calendar days of receipt.
Please contact The Domestic Botanist before returning any items. You can do so by sending an email to email@example.com
Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment, or as merchandise credit. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. Items must be returned in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached.
Shipments do not include a return label and the return costs are the responsibility of the customer. Your purchase may be returned using any method of your choice, at your expense. We recommend using a trackable and insured service.
Mail your return to the address below:

2.2 Unclaimed Packages
For packages that are not cashed at your post office within 14 days, The Domestic Botanist reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies' administrative costs.
